Tracing our roots back over thirty years, Euroforest has grown to become Britain's largest independent timber harvesting and marketing company. Operations are carried out through out Great Britain, from Cornwall to the far North of Scotland, via a network of strategically placed Area Managers, supported by Regional Administration Centres.
Owned by private equity partners the company is not tied directly to timber users and is therefore uniquely placed to act in the best interests of the grower, whilst offering the market reliable volumes of raw material. This combination of independent technical excellence, local presence and industry-leading backup has enabled us to build on our success and reputation as a partner-of-choice for many of the leading growers and processors of timber in the UK.
We specialise in thinning and clearfelling forests and woodland and the transportation of timber by road, rail and shipping to customers throughout the UK and Europe. We harvest and market over 1 million cubic metres of timber every year, equating to approximately 10% of UK forest production. We purchase timber both standing and at roadside.
We supply most of the major and many of the small timber processing facilities throughout the UK. In addition a number of the leading pulp mills in Scandinavia form part of our customer portfolio. Our large network of customers enables forest owners to access the best return for their timber.
