Harvesting Contracts Supervisor South East England

Euroforest Ltd is the largest independent timber harvesting & marketing company in the UK. We harvest and market in excess of 2.7 million m³ of timber per annum.

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy team managing the supply of timber to a large biomass plant in Kent. A significant part of the duties will be to oversee the contracts of woodland owner’s and customers through supporting the Area Manager in the supervision and practical logistics of harvesting sites and haulage teams.

Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a commercial outlook who is ready to support this developing area of our business? If so, we would like you to have the following:

• Land based qualification or relevant practical experience in forestry.
• Timber harvesting experience.
• A current UK driving licence.

Harvesting & Marketing Manager South East England

Euroforest Ltd is the largest independent timber harvesting & marketing company in the UK. We harvest and market in excess of 2.7 million m³ of timber per annum.

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy team managing the supply of timber to a large biomass plant in Kent. A significant part of the duties will be to provide a service to landowners in managing the wide spread quantity of Ash dieback in the area whilst developing current and future customer relationships.

Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated manager who is commercially astute and can manage this successful area of our business? If so, we require you to have the following:

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in forestry.
• Proven harvesting experience, or forest management background.
• A current UK driving licence.

Trainee Harvest Forwarder Operators

We are looking for two Trainee Forwarder Operators to undertake a comprehensive training programme over a 6 month period and work as part of our team at Blacklock Harvesting. You will achieve the qualification Forest Machine Operator Certification (FMOC) relevant to operating forwarders and all work will be delivered in compliance with the Forest safety frameworks.

You will be working across various forestry sites in the south of Scotland and work travel will be required with reasonable expenses being paid. Individuals can work a fixed shift pattern of either 6 am to 2 pm or 1 pm to 9 pm or the shifts can be alternating subject to the wishes of the successful applicants.
