Tree Clearance Works Undertaken to Remove Dangerous Trees in Norfolk

Chris Pickup, Euroforest’s Area Manager for The Midlands recently visited a site along the A148 near Kings Lynn where roadside tree clearance works were undertaken to remove dangerous trees.

The harvesting was undertaken by Searles Forestry and involved felling mixed Broadleaf’s along an approximate stretch of 15m of the public road. Traffic management was essential🚦, which was agreed in advance with Norfolk County Council Streetworks, with use of MLP traffic management.

Smaller diameter trees were felled using a John Deere harvester and oversized trees hand cut and winched, with different grades of firewood and hardwood logs cut according to predetermined specifications. The operation was successfully executed, and good quality products recovered, ensuring maximum return was achieved for the client.
