Jamie joined Euroforest in September 2007, excited by the opportunity to further develop the business in The Highlands of Scotland.  He is the General Manager for the Nairn Office and covers Lochaber and The Highlands.  Jamie is responsible for managing all aspects of his harvesting sites from valuing standing or roadside timber, to engaging with hauliers and contractors, and liaising with clients and customers.  Jamie has significant experience in harvesting operations on bog land restoration projects on deep peat sites in the Highlands.

Jamie’s career in forestry began as a Graduate Trainee Sawmill Manager at James Jones/Riddochs after completing his BSc (Hons) in Forestry Management.  Jamie went on to work as a Harvesting Manager for both Scottish Woodlands and John Gordon & Sons, prior to joining Euroforest.

Jamie is a member of The Royal Scottish Forestry Society (RSFS) and a professional member of The Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF) where, as a committee member, he represents North Scotland.  If you wish to contact Jamie to discuss any aspects of timber harvesting within his area, please contact him on the details above.
