What we do as a team

Euroforest have strategically positioned the compliance team to ensure we have members of staff covering all geographical areas.

“We are committed to a programme of continual improvement and engender a positive safety culture and a genuine respect for the environment we work in.”

Paul Medley Head of Compliance

Euroforest Compliance

Euroforest takes health, safety, and environmental protection extremely seriously, investing heavily in a dedicated Compliance team to deliver industry-leading standards. What began as a single part-time role has grown into four full-time Compliance Officers supported by dedicated administration. To ensure nationwide coverage, the team is strategically positioned across the UK: Paul Medley (Head of Compliance, Head Office), Simon Wallis (Senior Compliance Manager, Central Scotland), Mark Tansley (Southern England), and Daniel Burns (Head Office), with support from Wendy Morton at Head Office in Carlisle.

What We Do

Euroforest is an industry leader in forestry compliance, covering harvesting, forest management, timber haulage, and arboriculture. We also support infrastructure projects and landowners across the UK. We are committed to continual improvement, working with landowners, management companies, local authorities, and contractors to promote a strong safety culture and respect for the environment.

Euroforest holds independently audited certifications:

·        ISO 9001 (Quality Management)

·        ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)

·        ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)

·        National Highways Sector Scheme 18 (Natural Environment & Landscape)

·        FSC® Chain of Custody and Woodland Management

These demonstrate our compliance with the highest international standards, ensuring sustainability, safety, and service excellence.

Our Compliance Team promotes a culture of learning and positive reporting, encouraging staff and contractors to log all incidents and near misses. Using digital field-based tools, including the Safety Culture platform, we capture accurate records, live site data, and incident reports to generate meaningful insights and drive continuous improvement.
