Administrator
We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join our dynamic team, based in our Head Office in Carlisle. This role is crucial in supporting daily operations, ensuring effective communication, and enhancing overall efficiency within the Company. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities

 

·        Collating machine data for the fleet of forestry machines(working hours, idle time, volume cut, fuel usage) and monitoring accuracy of data

·        Preparing daily and weekly reports based on data gathered

·        Managing contracts on Company’s systems and maintaining contract documentation

·        Tracking harvesting fleet vehicle maintenance and providing prompt for services

·        Maintaining machine’s movements and updating maps accordingly

·        Maintaining employees’ training records and certification

·        Preparing operator packs for sites

·        Reviewing timesheet submissions

·        Assisting in the completion of internal audits

·        Regularly maintaining Group databases and systems

·        Preparing materials as needed for internal and external meetings

·        Serving as a point of contact for customer enquiries, providing timely and professional responses.

·        Working as part of a wider team; communicating and co-ordinating with other departments

·        Answering incoming calls, directing queries and / or taking messages

·        Organising incoming / outgoing mail

·        Providing continuity within the department when colleagues are on annual leave

·        Taking responsibility for ad hoc projects from time to time

·        Assisting with other Group business needs as required

 

Training and support will be provided to introduce the successful applicant to company systems and procedures.

 

Skills and experience

 

·        Proven experience in office administration

·        Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite – knowledge of Excel is essential

·        Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse data

·        Excellent time management and organisational skills

·        Ability to manage multiple projects and varying deadlines

·        Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

·        Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

·        Strong interpersonal skills

·        Team player

·        Full driving licence

This role is a full-time position, office based, Monday to Friday.
