Contracts Supervisor

We are expanding our dynamic team and are currently seeking a Contracts Supervisor to join our busy Elvetham office.

The Position

As a Contracts Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing a diverse range of forestry operations and contracts. You’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with both industry standards and Euroforest’s core values.

This is a hands-on leadership role that demands strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to build lasting relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and landowners. A commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement will be central to your success.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves the following key responsibilities, but it is not limited to:

-         Ensure all production specifications are met as directed by the Area Manager.

-         Conduct accurate measurement and quality checks on all products.

-         Assess product quality in line with the requirements of the destination market.

-         Maintain regular communication with contractors and their operators to ensure compliance with production and quality standards.

-         Liaise with landowners and agents in line with operational authority and guidelines.

-         Perform weekly inspections of roadside and stump stock to ensure accuracy and safety.

-         Provide weekly site condition reports to the Area Manager.

-         Coordinate with hauliers and customers as directed to support efficient logistics and delivery.

-         Monitor operational safety practices, ensuring all operators adhere to relevant safety guidelines.

-         Ensure appropriate safety signage is clearly displayed and maintained on-site.

Training and support will be provided to introduce the successful applicant to Company systems and procedures.

Skills, Qualification & Experience

-         Proven knowledge of HSE, FISA and ISO standards.

-         Ability to work as part of a team and lead proactively.

-         Excellent administration skills.

-         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-         Proven business acumen, and a desire to support business development.

-         Diligent and professional in your approach to work.

-         Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload to reach targets.

-         Forward thinking and the ability to take ownership of tasks.

-         Proficiency with IT systems, with experience of Office 365 suite.

-         Full UK Drivers Licence and willingness to travel.
