Landscaping Contracts Manager
We are seeking an experienced Landscaping Contracts Manager to join our Projects Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of vegetation clearance, hard landscaping, and soft landscaping contracts across the UK. This role focuses on ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. You will oversee compliance, monitor project performance, coordinate with clients and contractors, and support the project team in achieving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves the following key responsibilities, but it is not limited to:

-         Manage the delivery of vegetation clearance, hard and soft landscaping contracts across the UK, ensuring projects are completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget.

-         Coordinate operational programmes in line with client requirements, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

-         Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts to maintain financial control and efficiency.

-         Apply and uphold ISO standards within all landscaping projects, supporting quality, safety, and environmental objectives.

-         Oversee compliance checks, inspections, and audits to maintain high operational standards across all contracts.

-         Work with the Senior Estimator to assist with site visits, outputs and information to help produce accurate variations and tenders

-         Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

-         Support business growth by identifyingopportunities for additional work within existing and new client contracts.

-         Champion sustainable working practices, minimising environmental impact and promoting responsible resource use.

-         Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all worksites meet health, safety, and environmental requirements.

-         Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess equipment suitability, review methods of work, and address any operational or safety concerns.

-         Ensure the consistent application of HSE, Arboricultural Association, FISA, and ISO 45001, 9001 & 14001 standards across all project activities.

 

Training and support will be provided to introduce the successful applicant to Company systems and procedures.

Skills, Qualification & Experience

-         Proven experience working Project Manager and Site Management

-         Proven experience in collecting, inputting and reporting on data.

-         Proven experience in risk management inline with company and industry standards.

-         Demonstrable knowledge of HSE legislation, OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 Standards.

-          Demonstrable extensive experience in working within a CDM environment.

-         Ability to work as part of a team and lead proactively.

-         Excellent administration skills

-         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-         Proven business acumen, and a desire to support business development

-         Diligent and professional in your approach to work

-         Excellent Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload to reach targets.

-         Forward thinking and the ability to take ownership of tasks

-         Proficiency with IT systems, with experience of Office 365 suite

-         Full UK Drivers Licence and willingness to travel
