Assistant Contracts Manager (Landscaping & De-Vegetation Projects)

The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a member of our Projects Team at Euroforest Group as an Assistant Contracts Manager based in Midlands/ SouthernEngland working on infrastructure sites across the UK, assisting in overseeing contracts for vegetation removal and soft / hard landscaping.

 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take a key role in administration and overseeing of these infrastructure project contracts within their area. The role can be divided into the following key responsibilities, but it is not limited to:

-         Managing day to day contract activities such as vegetation removal and soft and hard landscaping, from established on site to contract completion.

-         Assisting the Contract Manager in their day-to-day activities.

-         Undertaking above contracts specific risk assessments

-         Creating and managing method statements and work plans

-         Identifying, arranging and overseeing contractors on infrastructure sites

-         Liaising with contractors regarding programme, progress, quality and health & safety

-         Ensuring client / contract requirements are met in full including where necessary weekly reporting.

-         Maintaining documentation and site records and producing reports

-         Monitoring work progress and compliance to specifications and standards

-         Carrying out site inspections

-         Undertaking safety audits

-         Adhering to environment, health & safety regulations and policies

-         Liaising with external and internal stakeholders

Training and support will be provided to introduce the successful applicant to company systems and procedures.

 

Qualification & Experience

-         Proven working Assistant Contract Manager experience or supervisory experience

-         Valid SMSTS certificate

-         Valid CSCS Gold Supervisors card

-         Proven experience in collecting, inputting and reporting on data.

-         Proven experience in risk management in line with company and industry standards.

-         Demonstrable knowledge of HSE,OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 Standards.

-         Demonstrable experience in working within a CDM environment.

-         Ability to work as part of a team and lead proactively.

-         Time management skills andability to prioritise workload to reach targets.

-         Forward thinking and the ability to take ownership of tasks.

-         Proficiency with IT systems, with experience of Office 365 suite

-         Clean, Full UK driving licence
