Stewart joined Euroforest in October 2012 as a Contract Supervisor covering Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway.  He joined the company to improve his personal and professional skills as well as to get into the management side of commercial forestry.  Prior to Euroforest Stewart gained considerable experience in the forestry sector, having worked as a chainsaw operator with a timber harvesting company.  Stewart was well known to Euroforest as he had often carried out chainsaw work on our harvesting sites with his previous employer.

Stewarts role involves overseeing the day to day running of the harvesting sites. This includes making sure the timber is being cut to the correct specification to ensure the best returns for the landowner.  He is also responsible for ensuring that sites are working safely and adhering to the required industry and environmental standards. 

Stewart continues to be highly passionate about the forestry industry and mechanised harvesting.
