Iain began his forestry career in 2006 with JST Services, where he gained extensive hands-on experience operating low ground pressure timber transport vehicles, port handling equipment, and mobile floating piers. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in the practical and logistical aspects of timber movement and handling. He later joined John Deere Forestry as a Field Service Engineer, a role that took him across the UK servicing and maintaining a wide range of specialist forestry machinery.
After spending a period working outside the forestry sector, Iain returned to the industry in 2023 to take up the position of Transport Manager at Euroforest Haulage. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the company’s fleet and coordinating the daily operations of the haulage division. His focus is on maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence, ensuring that timber is transported reliably across the Euroforest network.
