Simon joined Euroforest in 2007 as a Trainee Manager, having earned a BSc (Hons) in Forestry. Prior to this, he spent five years operating forestry machinery, primarily forwarders, across Ireland, Sweden, and Denmark. This hands-on experience in Scandinavia and Ireland gave him a solid foundation in practical timber harvesting, making the move to Euroforest a natural step in his career progression.
In 2020, Simon was appointed Director at Euroforest, with responsibility for managing major client relationships and overseeing the delivery of their harvesting programmes across the UK. In early 2024, he joined the Board of Euroforest Silviculture, taking on a similar remit with key clients. Later that year, he was appointed Managing Director of Euroforest Silviculture.
