Sam Huddleston

General Manager

Sam joined the forestry sector after earning a BSc in Forestry, building on a long standing interest in woodland management and sustainable land use. Before beginning his degree, he spent several years working hands on in various forestry roles across the UK, gaining valuable experience in forest management, timber harvesting and day-to-day operational work. His time working across such varied landscapes not only strengthened his technical skills but also gave him a practical, grounded understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in managing British forests.

In 2022, Sam joined the Euroforest Group, where he began focusing on managing key client relationships and overseeing the delivery of major forestry projects. His ability to balance operational precision with strong communication has made him a reliable link between clients, contractors and internal teams. Sam’s broad practical background, combined with his academic training, allows him to approach each project with both a strategic perspective and an appreciation for the realities of on-the-ground implementation.

Today, he continues to play a vital role in supporting high-quality, sustainable forestry operations across the group, bringing professionalism, energy and a commitment to the long-term health of the forests he works in.
