Softwood Chipwood Transported from Aberdeen to Dover

Our South-East team had a busy weekend supervising the unloading of 2500 tonnes of softwood chipwood destined for Kent Renewable Energy. Material was delivered by Euroforest to Aberdeen and was then loaded on the Scot Navigator for onward passage to Dover. Much of this material was recovered as part the ongoing clearance of windblow following Storm Arwen. With surplus material available in Scotland it makes sense to support the UK power market with transfer to power stations in the south.
