Euroforest - Our Values

Euroforest takes pride in our brand, ‘sustainable excellence’, which encapsulates our values and what we stand for.  We strive to always adhere to the ethos of sustainable excellence through our working practices, standards, behaviours, and investment in our employees.  The business and our staff aspire to our core values when working with each other as well as when engaging with our suppliers, customers, and contractors.

Euroforest and its group of businesses are dedicated to managing and harvesting a sustainable product whilst creating skilled jobs in a well-regulated and sustainable industry.  Sustainable forestry plays a key role as the world comes to terms with the impacts of climate change and individuals, companies, and countries work towards mitigating their carbon footprint.

Our people are the most important business asset and staff engagement has been the key to recognising our business values.  We want our staff to feel a sense of purpose and be satisfied in their roles, to help ensure development and retention of staff across the business.

The below framework illustrates our core values and the ethos associated with ‘Sustainable Excellence’.

Effective communication is crucial to our business and applies to all individuals in all roles.  Regular regional meetings, whole company AGM’s and virtual company meetings are held bringing all staff together and building a sense of teamwork.  In a fast paced and ever-changing sector where staff need to be flexible, we understand how important it is for the team to have support.  Euroforest have an open-door policy and a dedicated team of trained Mental Health First Aiders ensuring employees always feel supported.

Euroforest fosters an environment of inclusion for employees to ensure a sense of belonging and purpose.

This helps to create employee engagement and provides all employees with opportunities to learn and progress in their careers.  Many employees who joined the business in a junior position have progressed their careers to managers, general managers, and directors.  Employees also engage in a regular review process which identifies learning opportunities that the company will happily accommodate through either internal or external training.

Our business values behind ‘Sustainable Excellence’ are essential for our continual growth and success, and illustrate to our potential clients, future employees, and customers what drives Euroforest as a business.
