Lauren joined Euroforest in September 2020 after being drawn to the company's growth and the opportunities it had to provide.  She currently works as the Management Accounts Assistant where she helps with the purchase ledger responsibilities such as payments to and dealing with queries for contractors, hauliers, and suppliers.  Lauren is also responsible for the checking and final approval of all harvesting contract openings on our internal IT system.  This is a crucial role and ensures a smooth process as harvesting contracts pass from regional offices to Head Office to be made live.  Since 2021, Lauren has also taken on accounting responsibilities for Euroforest Ireland. 

Lauren gained a BSc (Hons) in Science Teaching, however following a brief time in teaching in West Cumbria decided on a career change to the finance sector.  Her first role was as an Accounts Junior for a local family business, during which time she also gained qualifications to become a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT).  She spent five years gaining further financial experience in the steel and industrial supplies industry whilst completing her studies.  Lauren came to Euroforest with the opportunity to develop herself and her career further, where she is currently working towards her Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualifications.
