Great Feedback On Mechanised Arboriculture to Remove Dangerous Trees

“Taking pride in our work is second nature to the Euroforest Arb team, however it’s great when we get comments from our clients about how tidy we have left the site and certainly makes the hard work and planning worth it.”

Will Rolph, Euroforest’s Arboriculture Manager was delighted to receive great feedback from his client upon a recent site completion in Southwest England. Mechanised Arboriculture was undertaken to remove dangerous roadside ash trees utilising a range of equipment, including a tree shear, forwarder and 25m cherry picker.

Traffic management was put in place to allow the works to be undertaken safely which were agreed in advance with Hampshire County Council. Once removed the timber was moved to a large chalk pit stacking area before being chipped and transported by our partner A. W. Jenkinson Forest Products. A log barrier was installed as requested by our client, to deter fly tipping, although it was at the cost of some chipwood, much to KRE Supply Manager Ben Manterfield's dislike! The securing stakes were supplied by our friends at Pontrilas Sawmills.
